The Burmis Tree, icon of the Crowsnest Pass in southern Alberta, stands beside the highway near the once prosperous coal mining and lumber town of Burmis. Hundreds of years old, the Limber Pine finally lost its needles in 1978. This image was taken before sunrise looking east – I positioned the sun behind the base of the tree so it appears like the light is emanating out of the tree itself.

SHIPPING INFO

Please allow up to 4 weeks delivery time for open edition prints and up to 6 weeks for limited edition prints. You will be given a tracking number when your print ships. We only charge a small portion of the actual shipping cost.

Prints are safely packed and fully insured for shipping. If your print arrives damaged, let us know immediately and we will organize a replacement.
