"Sunwapta” means “turbulent water” in the Stoney language and this waterfall certainly lives up to its name. It's just one of the many incredible sights along Highway 93, the famous Icefields Parkway, between Banff and Jasper. This image was taken in late summer when the water volume is not at its largest. The turquoise colour of the water comes from the glacial silt suspended within it, in this case from the Athabasca glacier. A four second exposure gives the water a misty, ethereal feel.

Limited Edition Prints are large statement pieces, available in sizes of 40 inches or more on at least one side.

Each piece is ready to hang without requiring any additional framing, although further framing with liners and molding can be done at a local picture frame shop if desired.

The limited edition series is capped at 100 pieces per image, regardless of print medium or size (above 40 inches).

Limited Edition Prints are signed and numbered and come with a signed and embossed Certificate Of Authenticity.

NO USA TARIFFS! USA Customers - your prints are made in the US with no extra duties to pay.

Please allow up to 4 weeks delivery time for Open Edition Prints and up to 6 weeks for Limited Edition Prints. You will be given a tracking number when your print ships.

Open Edition Prints are shipped free worldwide. Limited Edition Prints are shipped free to Canada and the USA. For the rest of the world, we only charge a small portion of the actual shipping cost for Limited Edition Prints.

Prints are safely packed and fully insured for shipping. If your print arrives damaged, let us know immediately and we will organize a replacement.
