"Mount Assiniboine is found on the Great Divide, on the British Columbia/Alberta border. There are no roads into the park so it must be reached on foot or by helicopter. I chose the former method and the 27 km hike took almost all day! But what a reward at the end of the journey. It is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas of the Rocky Mountains."
