Gallery Closing

09th August 2011
Well we gave it a shot but it has been two years and Queen Street’s revitalization is not happening at a pace fast enough for us to justify remaining there, so we have decided to close the doors. The gallery will remain open until the end of August. I’d like to say a big thank you to all those who supported me in the gallery, particularly to those who bought pieces from me. Thank you, I sincerely appreciate it.

Despite the gallery closing it has been a great year so far for the business. I have exhibited at some excellent art shows (with some big ones still to come in Ottawa and Toronto) and I have secured representation in the U.S. with two fine art publishers. I will of course continue to exhibit and sell at art shows across Canada and through my website. So I am very excited with the new direction my business is taking.

Onwards and upwards!

Photo comment By Denis Grantham: Sorry to hear about your having to close the Queen Street gallery Dermot, but i guess as a fellow resident of the Falls, I'm not too surprised. The revitalization of Queen Street is a slow process (too slow!). As Editor/Publisher of the Niagara Falls Camera Club Newsletter I have visiterd yur web site to pick up info. to publisise your upcoming visit to our club on Sep. 12th. Unfortunately I will be away in Europe on vacation but I know that club members are really looking forward to your visit. My best wishes for your continued success! Denis Grantham
